Glas/ Leuchten
Glass is a material that is suitable for many industrial applications. The choice of glass depends on the specific properties required for the intended use. In our manufacturing, we exclusively use float glass in the standard thicknesses of 0.55-6 mm.
Float Glass
This globally produced glass, manufactured using the same process, is suitable for a large part of industrial applications.
Borofloat Glass
Also produced using the float process, this glass is characterized by high temperature resistance, quenching resistance, improved mechanical strength, and high chemical resistance.
Anti-Reflective Glass
Anti-reflective or non-reflective glass is float glass where the surface is etched or coated to reduce unwanted reflections.
Frosted Glass
Float glass with a sandblasted surface is referred to as frosted glass. It is called satinato glass when the surface is frosted by etching.
Tempered Glass (ESG)
Tempered glass is chemically or thermally treated float glass. Its fracture resistance is increased by 3 to 5 times compared to normal glass of the same thickness.
Laminated Glass (VSG)
Laminated safety glass usually consists of two or more float glass panes (possibly tempered for higher fracture resistance) bonded together with a plastic film.
